Meetings

November 7, 2007

Woodworth Park  - Friday, November 16th - we would like to get together at Woodworth Park again, this time bring some basketballs, footballs, etc.  We really enjoyed our previous outing there.   The fee is $20, so we'll need to get that set up as soon as possible.   We did NOT discuss who would call Woodworth and reserve it ....

Christmas Party - December 6th - Rather than having a party for all relatives like we did in 2006, we discussed a smaller, more intimate party with parents and kids, this time doing something like Becky Cole's store "The Bear Factory" in the mall.   Becky has a party room.  Linda G will call and set this up, and let us know more via email.   We will definitely need a head count for that! The party package includes each child building their own small stuffed critter.   Linda will let us know costs per child.   Rather than bringing food to the party, we discussed going out for ice cream or some yummy fun treat afterwards.

The Knowledge Fair - February 21st.   Each child has the opportunity to do a science project, social project, literary project, or whatever subject  they/you feel would make a good display.   Again, the plans are for each child to stand by their project and answer questions of interested relatives and friends.

A meeting is scheduled for December 5th in the 5th grade girls above Wonderland.
