Who We Are

POAHS - Pentecostals of Alexandria Home Schoolers.   A family ministry of the Pentecostals of Alexandria, we have chosen to homeschool our children for various reasons.   Some of us have children who need 1:1 teaching to learn, some of us needed to remove our beloved young ones from the degrading influences found in public schools.

Those of us who have made the leap have found, to our surprise for some of us, that this labor of love CAN be done.

Each family uses their own curriculum, or mixes it up with more than one, as suits their particular needs and family.   As a group, we come together for fellowship, support, and good, solid friendship.
